We managed to get it work by installing the informix client 2.81.

Does anyone use Informix 2.50 with DS 7.1 ?
It seems to me that we have to install Informix Client SDK 2.81...
Any ideas?

Hi, Are you trying to connect via informix client? (probably) your SH_LIB_PATH should include the informix client's library path first.
