I earlier thought that DS jobs would be saved in ../Projects/<ProjectName>DSJobs. It appears from your suggestion that Jobs are now saved in metadata rep. Is that true? I just purchased premium membership looking at Ray's response. Got very curious. Thanks! This looks like a temporary file name used...

Re: Issue while trying to use ODBC stage...
Is Oracle on the same server as DS is? Then you don't need ODBC stage. If Oracle is on a difft server then you need to config your Oracle wire protocol for ODBC stage. Is there any reason why you have chosen non-wired protocol? Did you try other Oracle Wire Protocol? It seems like you did everything...

Re: Unable to link stages
In IS 8.0.1 you will need to first click on link object in the general folder from the palette. Then you will in the designer canvas touch the first stage and drag it to the next one.
Same applies to linking one by one.
Hmm! new type of cookie I guess.

Cleanup resources - Protected vs Non-protected environment
In ISv8.0 dataStaqe protected project environment -
1. Can a user cleanup resources on some Job that froze created by himself?
2. Can a user cleanup another users job?
In unprotected project environment-
Can a user do the same as above?
