If you use Oracle enterprise Stage. you can choose in Target folder properties>> write method =Load and write mode=Truncate

pls give more information i.e Both( versioin 4 and 7.5.x) OS and Databases information required.

DS Enterpsie Edition 7.5 To execute paralljobs still you need unix flavor. if DS Server installed on windows you may be create and compile parallel jobs , you may not able to run parallel jobs on windows.

Basic rule is input stream should be sorted. pls go through parallel jobs developer's guide.

What version DS you are using. in DS 7.5 Job properties window >> Parameters tab>> you have Button called "Add Envrionment Variables". you can use this to add job parameters . and in Transformer stage expression window when you right click you can see popup window and you can able to selec...

For job parameters you can able to assign Envrionment variables so in job parameter you can crate job variable ABC and assign envrionment variable " have to use only $FLAG" . and in Transformation stage you can able to use job properties #ABC#

you should be able to use an Aggregator stage.

Convert , Trim, and Field BASIC functions working fine in Parallel Transformer Stage.

Just i choose Oracle Source Read Method >> Table. and I was not used source property "partition table" .
Regarding Execution properties you can see in Job Properties one of tab Execution and One textbox i.e advanced runtime option

I have extracted 172 million records from source(oracle 10G) using Oracle Enterprise Stage and write to Datasets. its working fine no issue.

roy, pls check in your job do you have execution mode limitation per partition or any special restriction on job runtime options .
