GIT folder structure

Hi Experts,

We are trying to use GIT as our version control tool. I am still trying to figure out what should be the folder structure for it? Do you guys have anything that can be considered as a best practice for this ?

Thanks!

Are you using non-default ports for DataStage? Try passing all the arguements to the dsjob command namely the domain and server arguements

You can try to use the free Google API, its a RESTful web service i believe which can be invoked by DataStage

The number of requests you can make would be limited though

One way can be to use encrypt.sh script kept at ASBServer/bin directory. Run this script and pass $PROJDEF as the arguement. It would give you the encrypted string for $PROJDEF. Compare this string with your encrypted string that you have. Voila!!

Yes indeed.. But is their any workaround? I mean in my case this is a complete string and not a number in scientific notation ?
I have tried multiple workarounds to fail.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

Bug in NUM() Function ?

Hi Experts, I was using NUM() function in a transformer wherein i faced a peculiar issue. Below is the definition of NUM function per IBM: Num (expression) expression is the expression to test. If expression is a number, a numeric string, or an empty string, a value of 1 is returned. If it is a null...

Yes, i am talking about the design time default values that the job would use if nothing is passed explicitly at runtime.
I scanned each and every file ( inside RT_*) in the Projects directory, but sadly could not find it anywhere.

And to answer Ray's question, value files are not used.
