The jobs get compiled but they don't run
hi i know this sounds pretty wierd, but we are getting our jobs getting compiled but they are not running. No message is available in the director job log. The job just doesn't run. We tried restarting the datastage server but it didn't help. Has anyone ever encountered something like this Any point...

we are able to connect to the other database with sqlplus
we are able to get through with sqlplus.should we be changing something to import the table definitions in datastage manager.

we are trying to access a oracle database loaded on a different unix box.
we have our datastage on a differnt server and oracle database on a different database.
Any pointers how this can be done
