If you had a matching problem you wouldn't have got 175 successfull lookup what ever you did. I would try to perform lookup on fields with the same metadata. Just making shure I understand you, your main stream is a seq file and your performing the lookup against an ODBC stage :?: If this odd behavi...

Hi, Parameter set file consists of pairs in the form of: param_name=param_value each parameter is written in a new line I think it is located in the project folder (the project your jobs run under) a quick search should locate it's position, depending on the location it was saved inside the reposito...

I was wondering if the encryption is done in the mload utility, then the source column should still be of char nature, should it not  :?:
If it is a custom script can't you invoke it outside DS to load the DS made file :?:

Hi, As far as I recall if you were preserving the partitioning you would have retrieved all 175, assuming all jobs use the same partitioning algorithm and the same config file. Is there any chance you run the jobs using different cnfiguration files? (though misssing 5 of 175 records would be odd eve...

Hi,
You can use a routine to build a TYPE command with the existing files and run that as a filter command and use it as the merged file or write it to a target file if that is what you need.

Hi,
I guess Dennis was trying to see how it looks in the home web page
but since you said it was kinda ugly that explains why it went down.
I guess it didn't turn good enough when inside the home page :(
(never seen it myself in an actual web page)

I think the obvious solution is using stage variables in a transformer, but, in case the number of reoccurances is varying you might need to build a routine that concatenates the fields

Hi, Do you run the DS job using the same user as you run it with the ManagementStudio? (if not it might be a privilages related issue) There might also be an issue with the transactions, you might need to have the entire SP (Stored Procedure) wraped as a single transaction and not parts of it. Since...

Hi,
When working with Share point in my current location I can simply copy files to a shared folder over the network and that is all I need here.
So you only need to know where to copy the files to and get privilages to get the files there (copy the files to that location).

Hi, I couldn't quite get the logic for splitting the string (perhaps due to the fact I'm short on time). The trick to achieve this goal will be to plant a @VM between each part. besides that you need to define the key column you wish to be in each row occurance and feed the manipulated data to a has...
