Using the same Sequence in multiple tables

Hello Ray,

Thank you for your reply. I am, as part of the project, trying to have same sequence in both the tables i.e both the columns in the two tables must have same values when we compare row-by-row.
Can you help me in achieving this with DataStage please.

Problem with DataStage Server installation

Hello,

we have started the Server. When I am trying to run the job from DataStage Director, nothing is happening. No error messages are displayed and also I am not able to validate the job. Any idea what could be the problem.

Using the same Sequence in multiple tables

Hello there,

Can I use the sequence generated by 'KeyMgtNextValue' in table A to be the sequence in table B. My intension is to use same sequence in both the tables.. If so, can anyone explain to me how to achieve this.

Thank you for your reply. How can I know what transfromer(Basic or Parallel) I have. Basically, there is only one Transformer under 'Processing' section.

Hello,

Yes you can setup a self loop on the machine to have the server run on Linux and client on Windows.
