Hi Mike, I dont think it is link collector's problem cause it is working properly if I use relational stage infact It worked well if i use flat file stage after link collctor also but the problem is when i send this file to a lookup stage and us another flat file as target for this lookup i am getti...

Hi, not 390 expert but in general: AFAIK link collector is not ment to be used this way. link collector expects fluid input from all links according to the method used i.e. round robin. so try another design. IHTH, All input links to collector or fluid links. I want the source record to split into ...

multiple o/p links from transfomer to single link collector
Hi,
Can I have multiple o/p links from the single transformer to the same link collector? i.e., instead of having 9 different transformer I would like make necessary derivations in a single transformer and connect to link collector through multiple output links based upon derivations.
Thanks
Srikie

writing a routine in datastage mvs
Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to write a routine in MVS edition as in server edition, which can be called in derivations in transfromer stage.
I have this doubt bcoz routines are to written in BASIC but MVS need COBOL code.
Thanks
Srikie

Re: Report Generation/Documentation
I meant there jobs which are already developed and implemented might as well be in Mainframes. But I just need the documentation which shows various details of job design like mappings, constraints, derivations.already developed and run successfully

Report Generation/Documentation
Hi,
I was looking for a way to get the documentation of the jobs that are already developed and run successfully so that I could have a look at it.
There is "reporting assistant" in the manager but it doesnot help much.
Can any one tell me how I can do that.
I am datastage mvs.
