Having problems connecting my client to the server. Give me the old RPC Daemon not running ( 81016 ). The Linux server has actually been bounced - and still no luck. I am looking at the ODBC.ini file - but not sure what parameters need populated to see if this is the problem?

Actually the ODBC.ini is in the DSHOME directory --sorry

Same error after I restarted -- should the odbc.ini referenced in the dsenv have specific Oracle server information in there? For example, looking at odbc.ini in the LIB directory, it shows ServerName=OracleHost ...just an observation...
