Just to update the issue... The problem was that when we ran the "uv -admin -stop" command, the dsrpcd process was not killed ... We fixed the problem by changing permissions on some of the files to be SUID. I am having a similar problem. Does anyone know, will changing uv to have suid pe...

Command Line Compile
The most useful functionality I can think of would be dsjob -compile ... an addition to the dsjob unix utility. I have wanted this since day one. That way one can use a build tool like make or ant to compile jobs in specific orders saving many, many, many man days of time.
