 Thanks Ray...brilliant as usual!!

The %SystemRoot%\system32 portion of the path was somewhere in the middle of the PATH variable. I moved it to the beginning of the string and now all is well. :D

Testing User Name/Password in DS Administrator

I log into the Administrator module and go to a project's properties. Where one can 'Test' the user name/password to see if they can schedule jobs, I get the following error: 'ATTRIB' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Can anyone help me with this? ...

Connectivity to DataStage (81016 error)

I can log into DataStage when I select the 'Omit' button. However, when I enter a valid user name and password I get the 81016 error :x

I also cannot use 'localhost' as the server name, get the same error, I have to use the server name.

Any ideas on how to fix this :?:

Many thanks

DEADLOCK.MENU

Hi Guys I have been reading thru the topics wrt jobs locking and noticed that Ray mentioned the Deadlock utility. Most of the topics covered the Unix environment. In the Windows environment, would this simply be a case of editing the uvdlock.config file and changing it to start=1? What I would also ...

Importing ODBC Table Definitions
