Retrieving job log info from a job that has been deleted
We have a situation where a Datastage job deleted data from a Teradata table. We are trying to get information on who is the user who triggered that job. Unfortunately, that particular job has been deleted. is there a way I can retrieve job log info associated with a job that has been deleted ?

Upgrade from Datastage 6x to Datastage 11.3
We are looking to upgrade from Datastage 6x to Datastage 11.3. Will a direct export-import kind of an option work here or will I have to rewrite code afresh in 11.3 ?

DS upgrade 8.1 to 9.1
How effective is the Connector migration tool ? I propose to use this tool to first convert all the enterprise stages to connector stages. Then take an export from 8.1 and import into 9.1. Will this approach reduce the likelihood of resorting to code changes after migration into 9.1 ? Is it possible...

Upgrade from DS 7.5 to 9.1 - metadata
We are planning to migrate from DS 7.5 to 9.1. We will be installing 9.1 on the same environment where 7.5 currently exists. If I want to retain my Datastage metadata, is there a way I can 'export' the 7.5 metadata and 'reimport' it into my xmeta tables after the installation of 9.1 ? How should I h...

DS 8.1 to 9.1 upgrade and Oracle 10g to 11g Exadata upgrade
We are in the process of upgrading DS 8.1 to 9.1 and Oracle 10g to 11g exadata. After the upgrades, in 9.1, will the Oracle stages which used to read/write from Oracle 10g remain compatible with exadata ?
Will there be a need to do any code change or will DS take care of it internally ?
