Import job get error DSR_SELECT and CATALOG errors.
We have done an export from PROD to PRE PROD and every time we try to import the jobs, we get DSR_SELECT errors as well as CATALOG errors. We have done the DS.REINDEX ALL command with no effect. There does not seem to be any cleanup going on regarding the running of the clean up commands in the DS e...

Thanks everyone ,this is the respond from Centerfild. Hi Lindy DataStage is a 32 bit operating system at the moment. However, there is a 64 bit version of DataStage but it is only certified to run under the HP Titanium chip set. All is not lost because 32 bit applications can run under 64 bit operat...

version of Datastage is certified for a Windows 64BIT
Hi
I know Datastage uses 32 bit drivers, but i need to confirm.
I need to find out which version of Datastage is certified for a Windows 64BIT environment(most probably Windows 2003) and what the implications on the client side would be if we do move to the 64bit version.
Thanks in advance

using CCF to view data from mainframe, zeros are removed
It is a s9(17) comp-3 from mainframe but when i view it in Datastage the leading zeros are removed . I tried display numeric but i get a plus sign instead of the actual number. I also tried char but it displays some funny characters as well. e.g have this 0000000003000014 the results will be 300014....

merge 2 files but remove duplicates
I want to use the merge on datastage but I am not sure if it will work.
I have 2 file, both have exactly the same layout and I want all the records on file 'A' and only the records on file 'B' that are not on 'A'. Please advise.
This must be done in the merge stage not the transformer or sort.

Reading CFF
I have a query regarding reading numeric data on a complex flat file. The file has numeric data in display format, so when it is positive it displays numbers only. However, when it is negative, it displays a character in the last byte of the field to indicate the sign. Here is an example: 0000000000...
