If my DB is DB2 on EPM, do i have to use DRS only or can i go with DB2UDB stage? Are the OraOci, OraB...

At worst case, you can do a 'reinstall' of the server with the new auth code.
I am using admin user only.
Is there any way we can chage through command prompt? :?:

If i reinstall, will i loose my exixting projects?

Hi ArndW, srinivasulu and Chulett, Ur ideas are really appriciated but the situation here is different :( . If i drop the table, i will be loosing all references :!: and constraints on it. I believe, srinivasalu suggestion looks better here, but to my feeling, this is not the all time solution. What...

remove 18 million records from the table.

Hi, Is ther any way i can delete 18 million records with without using trancate. I can't use trancate as my DBA was like that. The delete statement will definetly squaze our DB. Is there any other way to accomplish this task.. I can drop the table, but there are many referential integrities over the...

Increase array size

The size you choose for your array is dependant upon your allocated DB/2 buffer size. I think that this is 4096 Bytes, the array size should be computed by the following formula INT(<DB Buffer Size>/<record width>) . Choosing your array sizes of 100,000 is guaranteed to provide some incredibly slow...

Restarting the server won't help at all. If you use an array of 24000 and the database server generates 24000 warnings, then DataStage will log all 24000 warnings. That's the DataStage philosophy; if you need to know about it, it will be logged. The way to remedy the situation is to prevent the war...

Re: Executing Stored Procedures from DataStage

Hello friends, Is it possible to execute a Stored Procedure from DataStage which does not return any rows by calling it from either ODBC Stage or ORA 9I Stage? Any thoughts would be highly appreciated Yamini I believe, you can do it by ODBC stage. One of the advantage of ODBC is... can work with St...
