Could you please give us more information on your design and tell us why you don't want to use Transformer. If you use Transformer stage you will have more visibility with the design and you can also resolve the data issues easily if any..

I Found out the issue with this, there was only read permission given to the Datastage Folder. After changing this I was able to view the properties of all the jobs. Thank you for giving the input.

Hi,
In Datastage Server Edition creating an instance is nothing but running a same job concurrently. This is done by either using a key value or by an ID with the job. Please let us know what instance you are talking abt.

I also opened the jobs in Designer, but when I try to see the Sequence or Rountine Properties my system hangs and i am not able to see the properties. Could some one...
