AS400 Configuration
We need to setup a connection to the AS400. I have read from the previous forums that using the DB2Connect is the way to go but what are the configurations that we need to set and DB2Connect plugin does come with DataStage as well, rite?

Once you import the seq file definition in Manager, double click the icon and use the format tab which has a synch to Parallel. It will show you that some properties do not apply to PX say ok Then remember that PX can operate with Datasets better and you could use the peek stage to view data from t...

Retrieving info from sequential file
An ETL job was developed to read from sequential file, which has 50,000 records. This job runs for about 1 1/2 hour and I would want to know is there a way to make the retrieval of data from the sequential file to be quicker?
