Maybe you could introduce a fine(monetary of course) for developers found saving definitions outside the standard repositories and those not fined can go for a drink on Friday with the fine money. :D

We're busy putting together our job control routines and were wondering if it is possible to create a sequential flat file using BASIC with Windows as the OS. We've done it before on Unix but haven't yet managed to make it work on Windows.

Yes I do have values set for display on the columns tab. In one job I've got 18 columns with displays ranging from 1 to 30 characters. In the data browser the biggest width it gives me is 6 characters. It looks just like an attempt to fit all the columns to a page which is why I thought it might be ...
