Thanks Ray, Craig fixed the URL in my post.

Take a look at the ODBQueryApp log files to see why it failed (see http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21509567 for locations). Also FYI, it's caught a few people out but there are some manual steps required after installing 8.7 fix pack 1, which if you don't do ODBQueryApp won't start....

You could just (carefully ) delete the registry entries that store the docking bar information - using regedit, remove the entries that match:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ascential Software\DSDesign\DSDesign*

ie DSDesign, DSDesign-Summary, DSDesign-Bar0, DSDesign-Bar1, DSDesign-BarN etc.
