Do I need to set Is NullFieldValue=NULL in this case under the Edit Window??
If yes, then what is the use of NULLABLE field property??? Is it not sufficient if we define the NULLABLE property to 'Yes'

Also check through out the links including transformer. Turn off RCP. Try using NullToValue() and set null again for null values. What is the datatype? ... Thank you for the response. RCP property is OFF and through out the job the Nullable property is set to Yes. All the fields are of Varchar Type...

The metadata that i have defined is correct it is only of lenght 50 and not 200.
I had verified with the Oracle DBA also.

I am using ODBC stage to connect Oracle Database.
And we have enables NLS configuration for our Datastage and data base.

Let me know whether I can configure any settings in datastage to avoid such warnings.

Hi Victor, set the NLS Mapping as UTF8 and also let me know how you are getting connected to Oracle. Are you using ODBC stage? If Yes then set the EnableNcharSupport=1. If you are using any other connection method then check the support for the NLS for those stages. Also check whether the input file...

Thanks a lot for ur code and suggestion.
I think I can implement this sort of logic for entier job sequence time out instead of individual job in the sequencer. Any how I will do it.
