The problem is that when you use a MQ stage you must specify the Queue Manager name. The two systems involved have different QM names with queues of the same name...

Is it possible to run a parallel job with two processes, one local and one remote, using MQ as input? If it is possible I would appreciate suggestions on what to put in the QMGR name field. Also, does it require any special setup in MQ, like alias queues or clusters?

It turns out there is a patch for this problem. The Production Manager is supposed to be able to import into a protected project. The problem was importing a custom routine. It was not allowing that. There is a client patch for 7.5 and 7.0 that resolves this error. The ecase is e64502.

The dspackinst can be executed by the administrator id in 7.5. I do not know of a way to execute it via the GUI. The Plug-In Installation and Configuration Guide makes no mention of such an option.

Did you ever get an answer to your questions? I am looking at the Scratch and Datasets directories and wondering if it is possible to clean them up. I do not want to delete files and cause a corruption but there are files in the Datasets directory from 2002.

All messages in my RSS feed have a date of 12/31/1969 6:00 PM. I know some of us live in the past, but all of us on the same date/time. Kind of scary. I am using SharpReader. Is this a problem with the feed or the reader?
