Hi Experts,
I am working on a development environment which is extremely slow on Designer. The jobs take ages to open. I suspect something wrong with the XMETA repository. How do I check if the repository is running out of space? Where can I find the XMETA connection parameters?
Thanks,
Varun

Datastage Default Message Handler doesnt get removed
Hi, I had created a message handler to suppress some warning and I was using that as the default handler for some of my jobs (From job properties set the default handler to this one). My problem now is that the messages are getting suppressed even after I removed the handler from job properties and ...

Strange issue with ODBC stage
Hi Experts, I am facing a very strange issue with ODBC stage. I am using RCP in my ODBC stage and passing the query as parameter to it. The job works fine for many queries.. But in one big query it extracts very few records and "COMPLETES EXTRACTION WITHOUT ANY ISSUES IN THE LOG". I would ...

Changing OPT_CONFIG_FILE and Duplicate data
Hi, I have created my DS jobs without any partitioning and on a single node configuration. If I change these jobs to run on a multi node environment , is there any chance of duplicates getting generated in data? I remember I had faced such an issue some time back in another project. Please advice Th...

Hi ArndW, This is a write stage with UPSERT.. No custom SQL is used. The data volume is only in the 100s .. No big columns also. So the data size is less. The job barely takes 10 secs to execute. I had tried removing the SCD and doing a direct insert into the table. This works fine. The SCD /upsert ...
