We saw the same issue here when trying to FTP tab delimited files with version 7.1r1 and the culprit was NLS. We run on windows here so Ascential sent us a new dsftp.dll that fixed the issue. We faced the same issue - it turned out to be a DB2 issue, not DataStage. -805 means a package was not found. If you have NLS enabled, version 7.1r1 has issues with FTP'ing a tab delimited file. Open a case with Ascential and they can send you a patch to fix the issue. I have experienced the exact issue and the patch took care of it. The key is NLS - when you open the case make sure you mention that NLS is ...
