IBM says "Test C2090-303 is withdrawn on 04/30/2016. It is no longer available. "

I was looking for the 9.1 certification because I work every day in 9.1, so could be more simple for me.
Certainly is better to take the certification for latest version of DataStage.

Thanks for the answer!

Someone knows if the certification path for 9.1 is active?
I've searched certification DataStage over PEARSONVUE website but I can see only DataStage 11.3.

Thanks!

Hi, I have a similar problem but when I use the option /NODEPENDENTS I get the follow error msg: The current user does not have the required DataStage roles set up. What role I should set up? If I try the same by GUI, with the same user, the export goes fine.. and there I can check/uncheck the optio...

The TNS entries seems to be right.
With SQLPLUS the connection is OK.

I'll try to create the variable APT_ORACLE_NO_OPS and see what happens.

Hi guys,
I have the same problem on Datastage 7.5 but I can't see any variable APT_ORACLE_NO_OPS to set "= 1"

Does it exists another kind of environment variable to set on Datastage 7.5?

Thanks a lot

Fix Pack for Datastage 8.1

Hi,
someone could tell me how to find the list of FIX PACK for Datastage 8.1?
I've searched inside IBM web site but I'm not sure if FIX PACK 2 is the last one.

Anyone have had practice with the installation of this FIX PACK?

Thanks a lot

The problem was in the NLS_LANGUAGE setting for the DB. Developing the oracle procedure with Toad or SQLTools I couldn't see that the default language was setted to ITALIAN . Datastage set the default language to ENGLISH. Inside the procedure there is some date function with the name of the day ... ...

Actually when Oracle 9 write the value "3,98 float" I see on the table "3,980000019" :-( But may be I've found a work around: (a / 30) * b is 3.98 / 30 = 0,13266666666666666666666666666667 <-- I think here there's a loss of precision in DECIMAL but if I use (a * b) / 30 3.98 * 30...

Thanks to everybody but I'm afraid there's a real BUG on datatype "decimal". I tried the following: 1- ( A / 30.0 ) * B unsuccessful 2- ( DecimalToDecimal(A) / DecimalToDecimal(30) ) * DecimalToDecimal(B) obviously without precision I get the result 3 instead of 3.98 if I define the precis...

Datastage 6.0 - arithmetic loss of precision

Hi, I got a crazy result for a calculation inside the transformer in my parallel Job. I have 3 stage variables: A decimal(15,2) B decimal(15,2) C decimal(15,2) Considering that A = 3.98 B = 30 (30.00) When I try to do the operation C = (A / 30) * B I get 3.97 as result!!! I tried with the same stage...

Yes.. ROW_ID was a specific field, not ROWID. Thanks for your answer. Actually I've found the problem! The new oracle schema didn't have grant to query the Oracle dictionary, so Datastage couldn't check the structure of the table. I suppose the error was over the field ROW_ID because it's the first ...
