How do I find if DataStage installed with NLS enabled option?

I am converting data from EBCDIC character set to an ASCII character set.

Hi,
you can read the job log with dsjob command
and pass project name, job name with BASIC option.

I did not give the name of the column followed by asc or desc.

After reading your email, i did give the name of column, followed by asc.
