hi I am trying to install datastage 7.x in my home system. do i need seperate unix box for that or i can setup in windows itself. b'cos i installed 5.x in windows , it's working. now i trying to install greater version ,it's installing , but the userid and password which i set for 5.x it's not worki...

i created one parallel job and that job just gets the data from the table.i ma getting the output as a string , and i used the column import to split that in to columns. one of the column is coming in the format as " 31-jun-99" but while in the column import , it's defined as "TIMESTA...

Iam using lookup for my job.
i defined all the required columns for that.
but while compiling i am getting the error as
'Property "key" for "Lookup_5" is required , but empty.
Any body is having any idea why i am getting error as above

I am trying to use generic stage , which will call the orchestrate operator.
In that stage in the properties tab, we have to specify the orchestrate operator to call.
How to specify that??
is there any path should be provided??

i am getting the outputs from my job,

i am having a job, that imports an date timestamp.
i am not having that date actually in a table, so the job is giving the error
" date has whitespace delimiter, error at offset 19'
