I tried opening the XML in web browser as you suggested, I am not very familiar with XML but nothing seemed to be weird in that code.

When you said that the web browser should show you where the invalid XML is, did you mean it will highlight the invalid character?

I am trying to import IDA data models into metadata repository using Asset Manager (IBM infosphere data architect bridge). I am getting an error message that there was an issue in running XML decoder file. And my import failed!
