Hello all,

I want to convert one columns datatype from integer to varchar(20).

How to do it using Modify Stage without having warnings.
Please help.

In transformer stage/ in ODBC Stage there are few columns like, 1. column name 2. key 3. SQL type 4. Extended 5. Length 6. Scale 7. Nullable 8. Description In the Description column I found some extra information i.e. "<none> Searchable? N " can anybody tell me what is the purpose of this ...

(pls see my reply in which i have mentioned that I am using ODBC Enterprise stage.)

Why should we use Transformer for this? If in my database the datatype is date and in ODBC enterprise stage i am selecting "date" datatype for mentioned field then for what reason i got the error?

I am using ODBC Enterprise stage and extracting data from ORACLE database.
