So it seems , i need to mention all the columns as key (in order to filter record level duplicates) in sort stage for making that to work. Yes..you got it.. and its gives you one extra column "Keychange" with values 1 or 0 1=unique records 0=subsequent duplicate records. Regards Sachin

Hello pandeesh, you can isolate duplicate record by using sort stage, sort the incoming source data on key column and use "create_key_change_value" option, its gives you value 1 and 0, This column is set to 1 for the first row in each group where the value of the sort key changes. Subseque...

Thanks..

Yes..we need to create one output file for each member code and there are near around 1000 member codes present in source data.

Writing in multiple files according to column value

Hello Everyone.. I am trying create multiple files according one of column value(ex. Membercode) from source but not able to do so, seeking help to know how to write in multiple files simultaneously in one DS job I am beginner in datastage and have very restricted knowledge. Thanks in Advance Sachin
