Thank you all for your responses...I was able to resolve the issue by removing the newline charecters using macros in the excel....

Hi Mikey,

Try using a look up stage and in the contraint select to reference link name in the drop down on the top of the box "Multiple rows returned from the link".This should work

I my case we do not want the newline charecters to be there,it was a mistake on the source side that we are getting these charecters...any suggestion on how to remove the new line charecters are greatly aprreciated .... i really cant use a transformer to do this as ...

Hi I created job that would load an initial value of 100 into the surrogate key generator file . when i view the file though the datastage job i see a value of 101 101 inside the file .>Now I run a job that would have 30 records in it to generate the surrogate key the values start from 101 to 130. >...
