All installation have completely separate locations.

It's a strange error...
maybe the problem is a link of libraries but I don't know if it's server side or client side.

It happens on the second installation (7.5.1.A)

Host system - <hostname>:31539
User name - <user>
Password - <password>
Project - <project name>

It makes the logon and pop-up the message.

After that, it works properly (it seems)

I've DS 7.5.1.A on HP-UX B.11.11 and there's that shell script

written by Ascential (now IBM)

If it's not coming up after your start you can do the following:

(using root user)

#uv -admin -stop

make sure that dsrpcd and monitor are not running

#kill -2 (or -9 if needed) all datastage processes
#$DSHOME/scripts/DSEClearSockets.sh
#uv -admin -start
