Environmental variable clarification
My development server contains a user defined environmental variable CC_MSG_LEVEL which was by default set to 1. It caused me problem in some loading data so I set it to 0 and jobs are running fine. But my production server doesn't contain this variable. How to add this variable in that environment....

no... just my job performs join(where i get some id and timestamp based on keys)... followed by transformer where i separate records based on some value.... in that transformer... in 8.1v records are getting dropped for null timestamps... but in 8.5v records are moving to final dataset even the fiel...

Issue Resolved. The job took time due to CC_MSG_LEVEL being enabled at project level. This generated huge logs in director and job was crashing for huge volume.
