All,

In target oracle stage under extended i have removed unicode and now its fine .

I source charcterset is Project default (UTF-8)
Target characterset is Project default (UTF-8)

Do i need to change anything in there?

warning converting string code

Hi All,

I Have a job which loads sqlserver to oracle table iam getting a warning as

"Invalid character(s) ([xC9]) found converting string (code point(s): CAF[xC9]) from codepage UTF-8 to Unicode, substituting"

Can anyone hwlp me out what exactly this warning meant by. Thanks!

Capturing duplicates

Hi All I have scenario where i need to capture the duplicate records to a file. Ex; column1 column2 1 james 2 james also ex: column1 column2 1 mary 1 charle if have both scenario i need to reject both the records in both scenarios how i can implement this logic through datastage.

sequential file handling

Hi All,

Iam getting the following error my source is txt file its has field delimiter as | and record delimiter none and no quotes in the source data and ID is the field name.

I appriciate if some one can help me this error
Field "ID" delimiter not seen, at offset: 7

sequential file issue

Hi All,

Iam getting the following error . can any one help with this?

Incorrect dboptions option list; it failed on Expected value for property "user", got: "#", line 1
Expected value for property "password", got: "#", line 1.

iam trying to laod the table iam getting the following error i have give user /password and server name correctly

actually i have took the target table metadata table definitions so i dont think there is a problem of fields being less in file. and schema of file is table structure

I know it is a vertical pivot but how to implement in server jobs cause their is no such stage as vertical pivot what ever the stage in server jobs covers only horizontal pivot
