This doesn't works . The output is coming as 0,0,0,0, This should work. May be try defining the initial value of your stage variable to '' {Empty} If you are mapping the column properly, how come this doesnt work? No complex thing involved in this. I did this, it is easy to use loop variable. See the below example.

Yes Ray you are right it is 8.5 but this is the first time I am using loop in transformer so any ideas how to start with loop? I saw the syntax in help but don't know how to start. Any ideas if possible?

Spliting the data from one coulmn sperated by ,

I have oracle table which has like below example in col7 column there will be values seperated , in one column it is kind of horizontal pivoting but the data is in 1 column seprated , In near future this col7 and col8 may have some more values any inputs really helpfull. There is no pipe in the data...

This line break issue doesn't exist in 7.5 version, but exist in 8.5.
As of now, we wrote a shell script which will delete the line breaks for a XML file.

Ernie, I tried my job unchecking Generate Formatted Output and ran the job, I got entire output in one single line.
This doesn't works for me. I need the output as shown in my question

Thank You Ernie, I am working on a project which requires generating XML output for more than 50 tables. after generating more than 20 tables till now what I understood is that we can add multiple repetition elements.

There are no errors/warnings for the job and the version of Datastage I am using is 8.5

Yes I did added Key for all columns except one column in the XML output Stage. my table had 29 columns and I added 28 columns as Key.
Is this the correct way of designing the job ??? but I got correct results as excepted.
