IDENT1: OCI has fetched truncated data
Hello,
I have an issue with a server job always working until now.
I have warning IDENT1: OCI has fetched truncated data.
I made a job with Oracle stage and Sequential File. Oracle table definition in reading is the same of Sequential file.
May someone help me?
Thanks in advance.

Copy the table to a dataset or to a table you create in a database you have got access to. Use Runtime Column Propagation (needs to be enabled for the project in Administrator and on the Output-page of the DB-Stage). Specify 'select * from tablename' as custom-SQL and leave the Schema-definition (C...

Table definition unknown
Hello, I have a problem with a table definition. I know only some columns of a table, I don't know if there are other columns besides the one I know. I can't get access to the database, because nobody knows the password, even if there is password on Administrator (but it is encrypted). If I want to ...

Datastage version
Hello,
I have Datastage 7.5.3, my costumer uses Datastage 7.5.2. Are there any problems if I use my version of Datastage? If yes, which kind of problems?
Thanks in advance.

Sequential file creation

I immagine that column names have to be varchar, for example: Date Name Age 21.02.2011 Tom 25 Some people suggested to make 2 jobs. First job will creat...

Table definition not synchronized
Hello everyone, we have developed some jobs using as target some Oracle tables. We imported them using Import-->Table Definition-->ODBC Table Definition, because these tables were not processed by ERwin. The icon of table definition is now with red cross, as not synchronized. Now that these tables h...
