Hi

I need to stop the DS job sequence , which was running from past 10 days. I tried to stop from DS director , but no use.Is there any other alternative ?? is there any command to stop the sequence fom Admin ??

Please advice me ...

From source data one column is coming with carraige returns , in target table i have to replace this carriage return with spaces .is there any function like REPLACE in oracle ? Can guide me in this issue

The data has all columns , in first row only fist column is filled , the remaining columns are empty , for other rows every thingi s perfect .Still I am facing the same issue .

I am using .RCV sequential file as source , while running the / viewing the data I am getting error like " nls_read_delimited() - row 1, column XXXX_Column, required column missing ' .

The job is abortiing .

I need some help to resolving thi issue .

few days back I have worked in same issue , just paramerize thye link name and give it in job parameters , i think this will be good .

Recently we have upgraded from Datastage V7.0 to V7.5 .
What are the new things in Datastage 7.5 ??? I didnt find any new things in latest version .Just they have added some reporting features .

take that lookup column , put it in a If condition and check for Null , if it is null give some Junk value (it should not match with records) , if it is not null it writes the original values .

It will work definitely .
