Delete a file

Hello all,

I have a situation where i need to delete 4 dummy files from a particular folder at a particular time to complete the sequencer process. Can I do this by a job..?

when i open the *.dat in text pad i can see the data.
If i try to import the table def by sequential file def.. then it is not showing uo the files.
is there any other way to get the meta data...?

Hello everyone,
I have a mainframes file as "sample.dat "
I need to know the jobs which uses this particular file.
Need a command in ds admin for this search.

they wanted to know the number of jobs
when i queried to find the number of jobs it says 1245 jobs
Its ok not to know the details of not compiled jobs...

tricky job

hello everyone,


There is a tricky situation where jobs are running in production.
I need to build a job where i should get the count and the names of the jobs finished, aborted , finished with warning and not complied.

Thanks for the guidance. I verified the individual files and they are creating the following for every sub xml file? <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> I verified everything in document setting of output tab for every sub xml stage and none of them is checked, comment, header...

I was able to get the file, but with lot of irregularities.
Thanks to the best practices document, at least I have file now, and will start worrying about its format in another thread.
