Any specific things that you'd like suggestions for? IBM has posted a pretty neat checklist which should help you through installation as well as give you a good place to start should you need to contact IBM support. http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iisinfsv/v8r1/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.swg...

We use APT_CONFIG_FILE at the project level and override at the job level to point to a different config, when required. APT_DUMP_SCORE is set to True at the project level as well. Other parameters tweaked in the current project level setup (and may not apply to everyone) are the values of APT_MONIT...

Re: Source has data but not populating in Oracle
Any warnings logged?
Are there any constraints on that column in Oracle?
What are the actual values you are trying to load - does it have any special characters or encoding ?

Write data to HTML
Is there a way to make DataStage write information out to a HTML table? I have a job currently that writes to a delimited file but I have been asked to convert that to a HTML report of sorts and email it. I believe I may be asked to convert a few more jobs as well so the solution needs to be easy en...

But this logic is again importing the file as a single column and spliting it to various targets based on the row length right?? Regards, Divya You could split it into different columns using substring functions to extract each field as mentioned or split the file and process them downstream. Unles...

You could try the very useful ETLStats package from Kim Duke's website (http://www.duke-consulting.com/) and possibly customize it to your needs.

I'm not sure how you would export/backup a project without IS being up other than taking a directory backup. If IS does come up, you could use the dscmdexport command. http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iisinfsv/v8r1/topic/com.ibm.swg.im.iis.found.admin.common.doc/topics/t_admin_backup_restore...
