I did not understand the below line given by you.
You need to use read it as a string and map the appropriate DTD using the XMLMetatdata Mapper .

My source oracle table is having a single column A. its data type is xml and having a single row in it. i want to view its data from data stage. i tried with oracle enterprise stage but no use. In data stage we dont have the data type xml while reading from table, so i gave it as unknown. the below ...
