Hi all, I heard there would be routine issues while upgrading DS (3.6 to 7.5) but from the document i have seen that , under upgrade guide/upgrading issues/Transform Routine Arguments page no. (164/192), how this is been handled, but iam not able to understand how to use this utility that is mention...

what did you mean by following statement.

"bare in mind you'll probably need to load the environment by:

after the cd command and befor running uv ".

does EE mean enterprise edition . or Does that exist on DS7.5 server editon which iam working on.

well, thanks for all ur inputs , this looks like variable performance , on production environment u can never when u need to run the job and at that time how the job is going to perform , depending on the cpu availability. Can any one shed me light on how link partioners and multiinstance job are re...

But when you develop a job in the development environment and
then some time you run on production environment , so how do determine
how partitions are good for optimal performance for that job.

Hi Arnd, Are SetEncryptedEnv and GetEncryptedEnv are Unix functions to be used to make them encrypted and use them in the datastage jobs(parameters are encrypted using those functions) do we need to decrypt them with these functions and in datastage job. Environment variables

Hi all,

I would like to know , how can i make project environment variables encrypted like such as oracle password and use them as finally
job parameters. i mean project environment variable used as job parameters.

Can some one explain me clearly how to accomplish this.
