Datastage 8.1 has some issue with the odbc stage it seems.
If your job design has ODBC stage ,then null will be populated in the columns whose datatype is NVARCHAR.Use VARCHAR instead and try...

I checked the metadata for both source and target. Yes there is no error messages still am not able to view data .Same job in different sever (DS version aslo same ) is running fine and am able to view data using odbc stage.

Could you please let me know what could be the possible reason or cause for this.

This might be because of having constraints in the transformer stage. If so ,it process only the records which satisfies the constraint given.

Normally the jobs that uses the same db sever is fine.
If we use different servers say oracle ---->netezza ,its taking longer time for the extraction of data from the source.Is there any options to overcome this.
Please suggest.

We are using 8.1 DS parallel job with 4 node configuration.
Job Design: Oracle db------->netezza db
issue: Slow performance.

Can anybody discuss steps to improve the performance.

We are Using netezza stage for updating a table.
We have table with 7 columns. 2 columns act as key column and remaning columns are to be updated. we dont have any date column to be specified in unique key option.
