I am trying to do a full refresh to the target table. If the source is unavailable or empty I don't want to lose the current data. Better to have day old data than nothing. My source is a very busy warehouse that often has tables that are unavailable.

I was told DataStage does not work well with virtualization in general.

We had a number of orphan processes so we killed them and rebooted and then were able to delete the project. We are going to add a term step in our jobs when errors are detected. Hope this keeps us from getting so many orphan processes.

If you have the parms in quotes take them out. Fixed it for us.

Yes, they recycled the DS server and I tried the delete. We are going to reboot the machine this weekend if we can't figure it out. I used there god id , isadmin, dsadmin, etc. nothing worked.
