thanks for your reply. We didn't do any chnages in the .profile file. In fact, i do not see any .profile file for these users under the home directory.

try to check from your DS job whether you are able to connect to the table from the stage itself. i mean, try giving proper access privilege and schema name.

if possible, can you post the list of stages you are using in the job?

As far as i know, Datastage always refer to .odbc.ini in your engine installation folder. Inside this file, you would have given the ORACLE_SID, username/password & port number and based on this, Datastage will connect to the oracle using the oracle client installed on the same server.

check whether the job is creating more number of entries in the log. i mean, check whether there are more number of warnings created by your ETL job. if that is the case, Director will take a bit of time to load all the entries.
