loss of performance for Loading Oracle

Hi, we use DataStage 8.0.1 on AIX 5.9 TL12. The Oracle client is 10.1.0 We migrated the Oracle databases used by our projects to another site. We noticed a high performance loss when jobs use the upsert mode in the Oracle Entreprise stage. We test particulary a job with length of time of 7 minutes b...

What version are you on? We're on version 8.0.1 and what got us fixed was installing the latest fix packs. Support informed us that there were several issues with the logging agent fixed in the fix pack releases. We have got also the issue "ECJ0053E: Authorization failed for /UNAUTHENTICATED w...

I had the same problem: "Transfer does not have this output interface as its destination". Now there is an IBM patch: fix JR31099. By waiting its implementation, i found a temporary workaround: our project was with 6 nodes, i modify to have only one. It is longer but now, it is running fine.

First, thank you for your help. O/S is 64bit. Yes, i monitored the space while the jobs ran and the error was generated. Nothing significant. The job failed after a little more than 1 minute. What it is strange, is we have the same problem at the same moment in 3 differents servers not in the same p...

I m not sure to well understand your question.

Only the oracle version will change. datas, connexions will stay the same.

i don't understand why you are talking about data or metadata repository. For me they don't have to change.

Oracle migration 9 to 10.g

I would to know what we have to change in Datastage after migrating on a server the Oracle version from 9 to 10.g .

We use ORAOCI 9 stage.

Do we have to modify ODBC connection on Datastage server ?

Same question if we have to change AIX version.

Thank you by advance for your answers
