Gomez,
could you elaborate on "integration" you are talking about? If you are asking if you can run QS and DS both in UNIX server, it is done everyday. If you can give us a bit more detail about what you are trying to accomplish, we can help you a bit more..

Re: Error while runnig a job which has a single "Match
Hi, I created a job which has a single Match stage.I followed the procedure given in the "Getting started manual" to create the match stage. This stage will find the duplicate records based on the address field. I then sucessfully deployed the job. But I am getting following error when tri...

Writing a Plugin???
I know this may sound as a pretty broad question but how hard would it be to write a plugin for DS that would execute/pass data to and do the reverse to/from a different application?

This reply is a little late coming, but the DS/QS plugin currently isn't compatible with CASS jobs. My understanding is that it also doesn't work with the official Canadian and Australian address verification stages. This is per Ascential support. Tom, thanks for the reply.. We got the word from su...

# of uvsh.exe s running
Is it normal to have more uvsh.exe running than the # of jobs. We had some "hung" jobs and looking at the Win Task Manager the we see 10 uvsh.exe s even though we are running only 2 DS jobs..

Upgrade problems from DS7.0 to DS7.1 and it's impact on QS
After we upgraded the DS 7.0 to DS7.1 we had major problems with jobs using QS Plugin . these jobs have been running without a glitch for some time and after the upgrade we started to experience some awkward problems. One of them is the metadata problem. We ran the job and aborted with an error mess...

QS Plugin question
This comes in as a surprise but whenever we are running a DS job with a QS plugin in it, we get a hung QS job if we cancel the run from the DS side. To be exact, the DS job doesn't kill the QS job that is running in the server. The support people came back to us with "QS Plugin is there to kick...

Running QS match through DS Plugin
I ran into a "Out of Memory" problem when I am trying to run a QS Match from the DS Plugin. We tested this with low volumes and it worked, but when we are sending 2 mil. records the "uvsh.exe" process reaches the 2 GIG limit on the memory and stops. The same match process works f...

WAVES Plugin performance issues through DS
Has anyone here experienced WAVES plugin performance issues? No matter what we tried (running the WAVE through QS plugin or running it through the batch job execute) we are getting really slow performance. It didn't go over 2 rows/sec. at all..
Thanks..
Thanks..

Problem with DS/QS pluging with a CASS job
I have been getting this awkward error from Qsrtmngr when I try to import metadata from QS into the plugin, or when I try to run the job from DS. The error I get reads: ERROR : op not available. I checked the ARDS for the CASS job and it turns out that the CASS operator (PCZ) for the output line is ...

Padding data with spaces
I 've got a simple problem about padding data with spaces. Say, I have a record of 2000 chars long and I want to assign spaces from position 1000 to position 1500. The way I would do this is with smaller size data is through transfer stage and an assign command. However when we are talking about a d...

QS Plugin question
I am trying to invoke a QS job through the plugin.
