Any update on this? I'm not able to launch DataStage Director or DataStage Manager since I updated my machine with Office 2013. I would like to not have to re-image but this seems to be where I'm going.

In my experience, Datastage does not drop the connections to the servers instantly. It pulls through the data and leaves the connection open anywhere from 30 secs to 5 mins. Depending on what else it is processing. I've seen them drop faster from SQL Server but they seem to drop slower from Oracle d...

I'm not entirely sure but I was asked to find out if Datastage could invoke connection pooling since we are getting time out expired from the Oracle server so we would like to leave 100 connections open so that datastage doesn't have to initiate a connection each time. Oh and I know that the server can handle the pools from the oracle side but I want to be able to manage them from Datastage on the client side.
