If I have to use the Java Pack to extract data from Portal, what is it that I need to be aware of and what is the pre-requisite.

We are implementing the dimensional modelling and we have debate going on to use DB sequence (Oracle) to generate surrogate key or use the state file.

I am using actual email notification activity stage in sequencers and the subject line would be of " XXX Job finsihed succesfully in #Environment# (Environment is a parameter -- test/qa/prod).
