I am using most of the time datastage, but would like to know more about the other features. Is there a kind of tutorial (beside the knowledge center) that I can start with. The courses are rather expensive..

yes the authority is the problem install was done with root the project directoy is owned by root and only dsproj1 exists some other files in other directories are also only allowed to be used by root most of them are dsadm as it should did uninstall of engine and trying new install of engine and se...

as long as I stay in designer I can create save jobs..
when leaving and connecting again I get
error message:failed to find an entry for the ds designer and project in the repository
the project Project1 can not be found in the repository..

and tried again - and again can use project
did not left it yet - creating a job

I have de-activated the firewall completely

there are 89 files/dir in this directory and
/data/ISServer/Projects/dsproj1/D_VOC

I tried to logon and can ..no error
looking in admin : all the broken have gone away : all are normal
I do not know what happened.. all seems ok

another issue is that on this license page, you can select upload a license file.
I point to the new file, but upload is grayed out and can not be selected.

Yes, I can see in license, that only server is licensed and not parallel canvas.
we received a new license now with this option. Is it possible to upgrade with parallel canvas or is a complete new installation required ?

We have installed information server and ds on windows 2003 64b
all has been configured for new users and when using designer we only have server jobs and no parallel jobs canvas. Is this correct. Has any setting to be activated to have this also available ?
