Hi all,
I need to connect my DataStage to an Interbase 5.6 database. Does anybody already does that kind of connection ? if yes, by which way you did that successfully ? (which driver (ODBC or JDBC) do you use ? etc.)
Many thanks

hashfile viewer without designer
Hi all,
Is there a way to view an hashfile content without using the designer client ? I'm asking that because i really need to check its content in my production environment and I do not have a designer access to it, naturally !
many thanks in advance.
Best regards

If the conversion can't be done then a null is returned - so you have just masked the error and not solved the real cause. ... True, my problem is not solved at all ! that was just a way to find where the issue is ... i can conclude that the int32_from_decimal returns a null value now : so, normall...

That looks strange. Can you put a transform stage in there and attempt a type conversion on DSPROJECT_ID there for test purposes? ... I tested another thing : i've change the formula with : DSPROJECT_ID=handle_null(int32_from_decimal(DSPROJECT_ID), '0') And it works !!! but that should not work ......

Fatal error with int32_from_decimal
Hi, In a modify stage i've put the formula : DSPROJECT_ID=int32_from_decimal(DSPROJECT_ID) NB: DSPROJECT_ID is an oracle NUMBER(5) type and not nullable. Each time i run the job i get this error : APT_CombinedOperatorController,0: Un-handled conversion error on field "DSPROJECT_ID " from s...

You'll need to provide more information than that unless you want lots of guess work in the answers you receive. What else do these jobs that are running slowly do? Define slow. Is anything else running on your two systems when you measure the performance of these jobs? Is the disk subsystem the sa...
