Hi, Please let me know if the following scenario is feasible. Scenario : We have a datasatge 8.1 installation with a 9.1 DB2 repository. Re: moving from production to testing environment
Hi Sunitha,
We can do an export/import to migrate the jobs from one environment to another.
If this is not what you are looking for, please add more specific information for the question you post.
Thanks
Franc
Peace be with you..

Multiple Versions on the same server
Hi, Please check if this set-up is possible. I would think its possible. Please share if anyone knows of any issues in this kind of a set-up. 1) Datastage 7.5.2 and Datastage 8.1 installed on the same AIX server machine. 2) Datastage 7.5.2 has the metadata repository in Universe (Hashed files) and D...

Datastage Licence
Hi,
We plan to migrate from Datastage 7.5.2 to Datastage 8.1.
Have a question here....
Are there additional costs involved in getting the the new version of Datastage ie 8.1 when we have already purchased 7.5.2 a couple of years back?
Thanks for the replies

Repository Migration from 7.5.2 to 8.1
Hi, Please help me out with the following question. We have DataStage 7.5.2 PX. We do not have metadata in an RDBMS, rather we have them within the tool itself as Universe tables (hashed files) . We plan to move to Datastage 8.1. After Version 8 there is now a requirement to use an external reposito...

Metadata repository
Hi, I have a few questions.. 1) I am seeing some installation documents for 7.5.2 Enterprise Edition. I do not see any requirements to have a database in place prior to installing DataStage. So I would think that it is possible for the installation program to create the Metadata repository in any ot...

Hi,
Suggest you to open the file "JOB.121662655.DT.1515019057.TRANS2" and look into line #65, I'm sure you can resolve by yourself from there..
The file must be located under RT_BP* directory in your project path.
