Hi,
my question is i am having source coming in form of flat files ,but i want names code and usuage code from the table,so can i put a constriant in transformer and use it to filter some required records.

I got a sequential file from col 1 col2 should be sent to the taregt i have 100 columns in the source ,how can we move these records.

when do we go for DATAESET STAGE and when do we go for FILESET STAGE,AND WHEN DO WE GO FOR SEQUENTIAL STAGE,i know what it is meant but in realtime how each is used.CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN IN DETAIL,THEY R VERY CONFUSING.

Hi,
My data is in as/400 In As/400, we had to run multiple queries that is done in by using sequeals but now we are migrating that data is in form of flat files ,now in datstage server edition so how can we run those multipe queries .,and extract a single column data.
